Boulder Java Users Group

The Boulder Java User Group has been in existence for over eight years, circa 1997.

Jay Zimmerman has been the President of the Boulder JUG since late 1999. Scott Davis has come on board as a Vice-President in 2005 to help Jay out with logistics and speaker bookings for BJUG. Scott is the former President of the Denver JUG and brings a lot of experience into play. Brian Pontarelli joined BJUG September of 2006 as the third member of the excutive board. Brian is the former President of the Chicago Java Users Group.

BJUG meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. There are two sessions at each meeting, a Java Kick Start session and a main session.

The Java Kick Start session is targeted to folks who are new to Java or new to a specific technology. The JKS meeting runs from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We have a 30 minute networking and food break from 7:00 - 7:30 PM with the Main Session starting at 7:30 PM and finishing around 9:00 PM.
